Our experience is best suited for ages 2–8, but older children often enjoy the fun too. It’s the perfect way to encourage creativity, imagination, and teamwork in a safe environment.

Each party package includes 1.5-2 full hours of construction-themed fun with access to our trailer, sand play area, themed toys, and activity stations. Every child gets to gear up with hard hats and safety vests to feel like a “real builder”. We also handle all the setup and cleanup, making the experience stress-free for parents. Additional time, custom hard hats, personalized signs, and other add-ons are available to make your event even more special.

We recommend up to 12 children at a time to ensure every child has enough space to play, explore, and enjoy the full experience comfortably. This allows for the best balance of fun and safety while keeping the environment interactive and manageable. If you’re planning for a larger group, we’re happy to discuss options and create a setup that works best for your event.

Yes, Dylan’s Diggers is fully mobile. This means we bring the entire construction experience directly to your home, venue, school, or event location within Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas. Our mobile construction play zone is delivered in a 24-foot enclosed trailer that is approximately 8.5 feet wide. To safely park, unload, and set up for your event, we require approximately 60 feet of total space to fit both the truck and trailer comfortably.

For setup, we ask for:

• A flat, level surface such as a driveway, backyard, or event space

• Clear and easy access for our truck and trailer to enter and park

• Approximately 40 feet of open space for trailer only 

• At least 9 feet of width clearance for the trailer

• Enough surrounding space for children to safely move, play, and enjoy the experience

Safety is our top priority at Dylan’s Diggers. All toys, equipment, and activity areas are cleaned, inspected, and maintained regularly. Our custom built trailer is insulated and equipped with air conditioning and heat. Additionally the rubberized floor is ideal for those quick moving feet.  Our setup is designed to provide a safe, structured play environment, however we do require a parent or guardian to remain on-site for supervision throughout the event. This helps ensure all children are safe and having fun. Waivers are required to be signed prior to joining in the fun. 

Because safety comes first, severe weather such as heavy rain, strong winds, or storms may require us to reschedule your event. We always do our best to work with families to find a new date or discuss backup options when possible. Since our trailer is enclosed, light weather may not always affect the party.

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date, especially during busy seasons. A deposit is required to officially reserve your event date and time. Deposits are typically non-refundable, but in many cases can be transferred to a new date if rescheduling is needed.
